A Perfect Circle Announce Full North American Tour
Last month, A Perfect Circle announced a 2017 North American tour with four confirmed dates. Today, the Maynard James Keenan-led supergroup expanded that announcement into a 21-date U.S. run that’s heavy on the West and Southwest. As previously announced, they’ll also appear at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Jacksonville, Florida, the Fort Rock Festival in Fort Meyers, Florida, and the Carolina Rebellion festival in Concord, North Carolina, before closing out the tour at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.
A Perfect Circle’s current lineup includes Howerdel, singer Maynard James Keenan (Tool, Puscifer), guitarist James Iha (formerly of Smashing Pumpkins), bassist Matt McJunkins (Eagles of Death Metal) and drummer Jeff Friedl (Puscifer). A Perfect Circle last performed in May 2014 with a pair of L.A. shows celebrating Keenan’s 50th birthday. The previous year, the band released a greatest hits compilation, Three Sixty, and a live box set. Keenan’s other band, Tool, is also due for a big return this year.
